About Us

Akımer Enerji is a licensed supplier of electricity and gas in the free-consumer market. It was founded in Ankara in 2013 by three energy-market specialists with the idea of "reducing bill confusion".

What we do and what we do not

We are a supplier: we buy electricity and gas on the market and sell them to our customers for an energy charge. The grid, your meter and fault and outage service are run by the distribution company in your region. When you switch supplier the grid, meter and fault line stay the same; only the company that sets the energy charge changes.

Our principles

1. Transparency: the unit price, term and exit conditions are stated at the top of the tariff card.
2. Simple bills: the energy charge appears on a single line; the distribution charge and taxes are explained separately.
3. Honest guidance: if we would not save you money we do not recommend applying; our calculator returns "no need to switch" for some customers.
4. Sustainability: 41 percent of our supply portfolio comes from renewable sources and we offer YEK-G certified tariffs.

Licence and regulation

Our activities are carried out under Electricity Market Law No. 6446, Natural Gas Market Law No. 4646 and the regulator's rules. Our tariffs comply with the rules the regulator sets for each customer group.
