Will my power go off if I change supplier?
No. Changing supplier needs no physical work; the meter and grid stay the same. The power continues without interruption.
Whom should I call in a fault or outage?
Faults, outages and grid work are independent of the supplier; call the fault line of the distribution company in your region (186). The Akımer Enerji call centre handles bill and tariff questions.
How do I find out whether I am a free consumer?
The regulator announces the free-consumer limit every year. If your last 12 months of consumption exceed that limit you are a free consumer. You can take our eligibility test or ask our representative with your installation number. Final eligibility is determined from the distribution company's records.
How many days from application to switch?
Usually 7 - 15 days if your documents are complete. The switch happens at the start of the next billing period. You can follow the process step by step in the customer portal.
Which item on my bill will change?
Only the energy charge (TRY/kWh) varies by supplier. The distribution charge, taxes and funds and VAT are the same for all suppliers.
