A supplier switch starts with an electronic or written application from the account holder; Akımer Enerji carries out every other step.
What you need to apply
- The installation (customer) number, printed at the top of your bill
- ID details (individuals) or the tax certificate and signature circular (companies)
- A copy of the latest bill (to check for outstanding debt)
- For tenants, authorisation from the account holder
The process
- Online application: you choose a tariff and fill in the form.
- Document and debt check: any overdue bill debt must be cleared first.
- Distribution company approval: we forward the request and notify you of the result by SMS.
- Contract: the electronic contract is signed with SMS confirmation.
- Switch: usually 7 - 15 days after the application, at the start of the next billing period, Akımer becomes your supplier.
Frequently asked: will the power go off?
No. Changing supplier needs no physical work; the meter stays in place and the power is not cut.
Exit and return
Within the conditions on the tariff card you can move to another supplier or return to the regulated supplier. If a fixed-price tariff has an early-exit fee it is stated clearly in the contract.
